Crashes

Just crashes everytime I start the photo taking part. Bummer

Junk

It crashes when you try to use the front camera. It is just junk. I am deleting this app from my iPod.

Crashes

It crashes every time I try to open it!

Crashes on 4.3.3

Worthless. I waited 2 minutes for it to finish snapping pics and it crashed out after the last one with NO video. Older versions used to work, but obviously backward compatibility isnt part of the Timlapses philosophy anymore!

Excellent

Great free app. Works as advertised. I would consider upgrading to full version

time lapse

wow this app was ok at first but now it wont work i wouldnt recomend this app to anyone

Dont update

If you update the app then it wont let you do a time lapse with hours. On the other hand this app is great and it is worth getting.

Great app

Great app! With the quality of my iPhone 5 camera I have actually been able to supplement my professional videos with timelapses from it. I recommend NOT encoding the video with the app because the resolution is far to small (SD when sent to Facebook etc from the phone, 720p when transferred off). However, if you arent savvy enough to edit a video with individual images, then the video encoder is really cool.

How can you mess this up?

It must be one of the most simple things to write to do time-lapse. I downloaded this app. It turns out that the UI doesnt work properly in the free version so you have to spend $ on the IAP to make it work. Then you cannot review the $1.99 App you have to review it here. Can anyone say sneaky? WARNING I spent an afternoon making a video of an outdoor construction. Only to find that the first 5 mins and last 5 mins get faded out, and a big advertisement appears over the movie during the fade in and fade out. You can turn off the advertisement, sure, if you want to re record the whole thing all over again, Really?

I love it!

Very nice app, best Ive seen so far. Very useful features such as focus and metering lock, and black screen during use helps to reduce battery drain. Being able to focus on one area and expose for another is a must for sunset time lapses. Thanks!

Good but could use some improvements

I like that you can set the number of pictures taken and the time interval between pictures. However, if you hook your device up to a docking station the vertical or portrait orientation of the pictures taken is not compatible (only works when you set it horizontally).

Perfect app

My very first time laps film came out perfect with music from my music collection. I used the itouch 5 and the Istabelizer to mount the unit to my tripod. Its hard too imagine any one not likening this app. On a last note I watched the film on a Samsung 47" tv and it was beautiful quality.

Fantastic with a MilliMount!

I put my phone on a Millimount tripod adapter and captured a sunset and a sunrise the next day.... Its thrilling to replay these great moments while being able to watch firsthand. Great app!!!

The best time lapse app I found.

The best all around app. I did not use it vertically oriented - had no need.

Great App

Great app, but to get 5 stars, make it possible to disable auto lock/other interruptions via the app vice always going to settings…then returning to settings after using the app. Really useful and great app otherwise.

Good app. Can be better

Overall its good. But to get 4 or more need below improve. 1. An option that Automatically stop taking pictures when phone stop moving. This is very useful for road warriors to save storage when waiting at the traffic light. 2. A extra button to PAUSE/RESUME taking picture, for them to pass a not interest piece of scene. It will be wonderful if this can be done by Voice command.

Settings

Cant use because it says it doesnt have access to Photo Library and asks to change Settings but there are no settings for doing this

Disappointed

I really do not like the fact that the "final video" time is limited to only 20 seconds, yet I can record 4 hours videos. There is every possible option just as the app that I must buy, besides the fact that Im limited to only 20 second of a final cut. You guys really will recharge $2.99 for the fact that you can extend the final video? Ridiculous!!!

works well

upgraded to save long videos, works perfectly for capturing build timelapses
